New members are always welcomed into the choir at any time of year, although our rehearsal schedule tends to follow school term times. As you can see from our Repertoire page we sing a wide variety of music from many periods and in many styles.
Whether you are an accomplished singer, a newcomer to choral singing, or just feeling a bit rusty after a few years off, you will find a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere in the choir.
The choir is noted for its friendly and relaxed approach, and membership is open to anyone interested in singing. There are no auditions; all that is required is a willingness to learn and a desire to make music.
Where and When?
We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm - broadly following school terms. The rehearsal venue is the United Church of Egham (UCE), High Street, Egham. UCE is an accessible venue with a ramp and wide doors. There is plenty of parking nearby (free in the evenings), and it is a short walk to Egham rail station.
